Played the game on and off for a couple years. Started a new play through this year, and finally beat it. The disappearing loot glitch has been fixed, just don't store things in chests you didn't craft. The story, and particularly the ending, are a little lackluster- but still have some good elements of intrigue. My two complaints would be: first, i wish the crafted foundations and walls would come together better, this was never patched. Some large gaps remain. My second complaint would be, i wish there was more replayability once the game has been completed, something one could work towards. I know the developer says the game won't be updated anymore as it is not feasible, and that's a shame. All in all, however, the game still stands as a solid and enjoyable experience, and i have purchased the second game in the series to continue my adventure.

Please add rain to the game the game would be much better with rain like the pc version but good game and also love it I have been playing for a while now and still keeps me entertained

Don’t buy this game it is abandoned by the devs and they won’t fix obvious issues like how thunder storms don’t work on the IOS version. I have sent them multiple bug reports to their web site about game breaking issues on IOS, Switch, and PC and they don’t bother to respond to me despite the fact that I paid for this game on three different platforms. Avoid this game it is a bug fest and in its final version which will never be fixed even for obvious bugs because the devs complain that this game was not financially viable for them.

I lost many ours of of crafting, building and exploring to a glitch. So promising yet so disappointing.

I have this glitch where i just finished destroying a tower, then the next tower that im supposed to go and destroy is already gone, so now im just stuck with the decision to either restart my entire 6 hours I’ve spent on this world and do nothing else with it and not be able to progress forword in the game, or restart from the beginning because of somthing out of my control

This game is scary but fun. The crafting, exploring content are perfectly combining.

I spent a year getting so much stuff I had EVERYTHING and then I find a metallic bed I press on it AND MY GAME CRASHES AND WHEN I COME BACK I LOST ALL OF MY STUFF THAT I SPENT A YEAR ON GETTING! I’m so mad!!

Fun game but 2/3 way through it crashed and took away all items and upgrades. For a paid game this is unacceptable.

Feels like I’ve been playing this game for decades, on and off. Every time I come back to it the the shaders/lighting and landscape always have top tier quality graphics. The game itself is huge in terms of gameplay and it almost never feels like much is spoon fed to me in terms of anomalies and mystery surrounding the island. Overall 10/10 game.

This game was totally awesome. Like for a $3 mobile game, it was top tear. Until I got about 30 chests worth of stuff, like I’m talking armor, food, weapons, tools, and a bunch of rare stuff you can’t even craft. I built a huge house on the top of a hill ON THE THIRD ISLAND and suddenly the game crashes and all of my progress just disappeared. Everything. The biggest pack you could have, everything. I spent countless hours on this game for nothing. Developers fix this plz!!!

This would be a great game without all the glitches. As it is, it’s nearly unplayable and certainly frustrating at the least; crashes where all progress is lost, trapped in scenery, etc. It’s not worth paying for and after seeing all the other similar reviews I assume that the makers don’t really care enough about their product to fix it.

Well this game is good I like the style and crafting but makes no sense why the clothing has a time duration another I know it has controller support but needs to have customizable settings for it cause mostly playing the game with controller is kinda horrible cause not all buttons have input to it so you have to go back and forth between touching screen and controller torch is a little to much on the deteriorating rate so it’s kinda like hey have a torch wait that didn’t last long kinda like most of the items on here have low rate but fast deterioration on it kinda wanted to touch on that but all in all it’s a good game just needs controller settings on it to be able to make it work with it better

I honestly hope they creators update it. I love the game, I’ve played it before. But I’ve never got into it. The game play is pretty good so far, I just wish there was more to it. Maybe more weapons, it’s just a thought. Overall it deserves 😤 5 stars.

I have been playing this games for years. Exploring, crafting, building and fighting my way around . Gathering supplies and storing them in boxes you can craft from wood. This first game is clearly the best open and explore with an over arching goal. However, even after you finish, you can still play. The second game became more about fallowing clues around while killing Zombies until you finish the game. The third game was about fallowing clues and solving traps. The second and third app games lost the importance of crafting, building and exploring. Now, all my crafted and harvested items have disappeared because of some glitch. I assume the developers are killing their own game out of boredom or because I am the last one playing it. Too bad, it was really fun.

My day and night cycle is broken it goes from darkness to daylight and back and forth all the time it’s starting to get annoying this game needs a update for iOS 14

Love this game I would give it a 5 but the game is very buggy you jump randomly and you also rotate randomly if your going one deroection it take you to another direction so maybe fix the bugs in the game and I will give it a 5 the jump button

This is a good game, I really enjoy playing this, but one problem is this game didn’t do full screen on iPad Pro 2020

game is absolutely amazing. It will draw you in like no other. It's hardcore gameplay, and adventuresness(word?) is off the charts. It does have some minor bugs, and it drains your battery quickly. But, what do you expect? Give this app a chance, play it! You won't be dissapointed 12/15 Just wanted to edit my review and again praise this game. Ive played most of the survival app games, and this one trumps them all. The difficulty, and lack of instructions on how to do everything makes you learn how to play the game. If you want a walkthrough, google it!

I've been enjoying this game for a month. This is the fourth time that I LOST EVERYTHING IN MY CHESTS. Every single items stored in my chests in all the huts are just gone. The app suddenly stops and then home screen. When I re-open the app, nothing in my chest...... It seriously needs an update!!!!!

I used to LOVE playing this game but then one day I was playing radiation island and boom it logged me out of the game and I thought oh it’s a little malfunction, and once I log into the game I lost all my stuff, I lost all my things and my backpack upgrades, EVERYTHING. I was basically back to a beginner. Please fix this

Thank you for the fun childhood memories. I bought this game years ago when it came out. Me and my friend spent hours upon hours playing this. Amazing game. I wish I could give more stars.

To draw comparisons with some other games on the app store Radiation Island (RI) combines the combat and world design of GTA: San Andreas and Dead Trigger with the crafting of Minecraft. You can build things and gather resources too but you are somewhat limited in the building aspect, nothing really lost there. Graphics are beyond any other game on the App Store. 100% worth the money and there are no in-app purchases or nagging ads. The rest of this review will be SPOILERS so if you haven't played, don't read any more. . The game is amazing but it would have been cool to see wolves you can tame instead of just kill but then again this is a world with zombies so maybe everything is insane or something. Not having an iron pickaxe is kind of strange too. At first I thought the transit location/teleporter was kind of cheating but I see why now. I just think maybe it would make more sense if you actually had to be at a transit location to teleport instead of just being anywhere (considering you can only teleport to transit locations). There is also a glitch in some parts of my game where you will fall through the sand and become trapped. The only way I got out was by teleporting so maybe I shouldn't complain about that. There are also only 4 guns in the game, I'm not finished but that seems about all there is in terms of firearms. It would be cool if there were just a few more guns. Maybe a shotgun, sniper rifle etc or hell, maybe a grenade or working artillery.

This is similar to other survival games out there, but it should not in any way be as frustrating as it is to build a house!! Fix this!! I was enjoying the game up until I started to build. Floors refuse to line up, floating roofs and floors that you can’t retrieve, walls refuse to go where you want them, spaces between rooms that you can’t fix. That made me want to quit this game. How can you release it like that without fixing that and making it easier to build a simple base camp?! Wow.

Controller support is abysmal at best. Will come back to it if they ever implement proper controller support.

Easily one of the best app games...huge open world, tons of collection (finding crates is like opening mini holiday gifts), logical crafting, scary but beatable animals and zombies, good story and logical/balanced progression, even the ability to build literally stadium sized structures if you want. It’s weeks to months of entertainment. Playing it through now again, about a year since first time, and just as enjoyable. Great work Atypical, can’t wait for the next one (since I’ve already played through Radiation City and Chernobyl - also great entertainment)

I just redownloaded this game and it’s so fun and I wish it was updated with a easier way to travel because gliders aren’t always so dependable and it mows through my battery and I have a iPhone 11

This game is a rip off. They like to glitch you out of the game and then take away all of your stuff. All of my chests, all of my items, just gone. They even took my items in my hut along with all the chests they were in.

This game is awesome, the environment is immersive and beautiful, but the crafting is extremely limited and the crafting to build houses is broken, spent hours creating a large house only to accidentally remove one of the upper floors and not being able to install it again unless I took everything down, this game needs serious improvements and additions to the crafting system.

So I just bought the game and it was very good but when I got to the 3 island it glitched and took everything away. I got mad and I haven’t played since.

I used to love this game and was addicted to it but after i got stacked it got boring i saw it hasn’t been updated In 2 years i hope the games not dead and would love a new update that adds new items or structures or buildables to the game.

You start to have fun then your whole game restarts and nothing saves. Not worth the three dollars.

I freaking love this game it’s awesome it’s got lots of different areas to explore and it’s really fun but here’s the catch this game has lots of lag like I was on the third island and was getting attacked by zombies but it started lagging tremendously and I kept dying and when you save your game you have to save it like 3 or 4 times to actually save it it you will lose all of your progress but besides from that it is a really fun game overall and would the game 5 stars overall.

I shut down tower #1 and somehow this stupid game deleted alll my items and supplies! I would give it less than 1 star if I could.

I love this game but I would like to be able to modify are character and maybe you can add multiple with friends without have to fight, and you can make your difficulty peaceful with not zombies or normal where it’s normal and then hard were there a ten times the zombies and they are more fast and deadly. And can you add pets to help you like cats, horses, dogs, and even wolfs and tigers and lions if you tame them with like fish or meat and thank you for the amazing game😸😸😸 Can you also add moter cycles? I know that will be hard core and it would be better than gliders.

Well, Lost is my favorite tv show of all time, and this game is basically Lost + zombies. I can't believe how cheap it is. I throw so much money at these BS games that just kill time -- I would be willing to spend a decent amount of money on an expansion or console version (although it’d essentially be Dead Island - I just really love this game.) I was starting to think this game was getting repetitive until I prematurely tried to disarm the center island tesla, then I realized I should just go work on the third (NE in my case) island first. And HOLY MOLY the third island was like a whole new game entirely. So many more bases, a hidden little oasis through a tunnel of trees, with actual decorations in the houses that you can take. Crazy amounts of zombies, but crystal transformers at every transit location. I love this game and cannot believe it isn't more popular. Anyways -- the few cons I've noticed (that don't make the game unplayable at all) : Zombies get stuck in walls, a lot of the dig sites don't work, sometimes auto aim doesn't seem to work but I suppose that could be user error, there could be different enemies or some more change of scenery. Anyways -- spend the three dollars and try it out. It's a hidden gem of the App Store. I’d legit pay a good $30-40 or so on a PS4 version.

I played this game for a long time and placed down a cabinet and my game crashed. So I load back in my inventory and my house was gone. Everything I had disappeared in one second.
